Stallion Web Package #2 - $399
The following is a detailed description of the services included.
1. Seven pages total
This includes the home page with links to the stallion page, foals page, for sale page, about page,
contact page, and reciprocal links page. You may opt to change some of the pages. For example:
one page per stallion, a page for puppies for sale, etc.
2. Photo scanning and photo retouching included.
Send your photos by mail and I'll do all the work. Your pictures will be saved on disk for your
future use.
3. Promoting your site
This includes submission to major search engines (ex: yahoo),
keyword and meta tag optimization. (This assures your site comes up when people search for
your stallion) Exchanging links with
other websites is a great way to gain visitors. I'll set you up with a link page that can be
added to from your own computer as you find similar sites.
4. Business Shopping Cart Account with PAYPAL
This allows customers to
make payments with credit cards for your services (up to $2000 per day). Paypal charges a 3%
fee, which comes out to $15 on a $500 breeding fee.
5. Domain Name Setup
Choose an internet address (www.yoursite.com, www.yourstallion.com), which will be
reserved for you for one year. You will own the domain name.
Visit Go Daddy to find out if your address is available.
After one year, the cost varies depending on how long you renew your name for (round $30 per year), and is payable to the third party.
6. Web Site Hosting for One Year
Your website needs to be stored with a company
which can make it accessible to the internet. (It's a lot like renting a billboard sign).
Your site will be hosted with a third party, which includes 1000 GB storage space (which is a lot!),
and 1000 GB/month traffic (plenty of room for the average equine business, unless you're Three Chimneys).
After one year, the cost is $6.95 per month, payable to the third party.
After one year, you will have the opportunity to change companies, renew with our services, or take on the website by yourself.
7. Unlimited E-mail addresses
Sometimes call "vanity" emails (ex: horse@yoursite.
com). I suggest just one email address so as not to confuse your customers (in the business
world, "branding" just one e-mail is as essential as name recognition, logos, and mottos).
Sometimes it is beneficial to offer more than one e-mail address if you have employees.
8. E-mail forms are included.
This allows clients to fill out information request
forms for stallion packets,etc.
9. Free maintenance for three (3) months.
Most of the changes and updates will be
made within this time period.
I charge $20 per hour for updates and maintenance after the 3 month free period. The average is $60 per month
with regular updates to the site. You may
choose to find another company to assist you in updates or do it yourself.
10. Free statistics setup
This allows you to see who is visiting, how often,
and from where. A privacy policy disclaimer is included on your site for legal reasons.
