Note from Lisa Repensky: I've been trying to keep this website going since 1997, sometimes successfully, sometimes not. It started as a tribute to
paint horse sites on the web, followed me through my breeding adventures, and now that I've got kids of my own, it's taken a back seat. Hopefully that will change now.

About Lil Bit of Color Ranch: Even though I christened the "ranch," it technically belongs to my parents. The name followed me to my
current location when the horses did. I have
four horses, 3 paints and 1 quarter.
My APHA stallion, CMF Sonny Joe, died in Texas in July of 2008.
Owning Joe was the best thing I could have done for the paint horse cause as I met some amazing people, including
past APHA president
Carl Thurow (I still own one of his fillies),
Diamond D Graphics,
Nan Beeler,
Melanie Albright,
The Griskiewicz family, Lloyd Anderson, and many more.
I was even fortunate enough to attend the 2005 APHA World Paint Horse Show and Joe won a top ten buckle. I have also served on the board for the
Dirt Floor Arena in Proctor, MN, and worked on many websites including
All Season Stables,
the MN North Star Paint Horse Club, and many more.
I am very lucky to have these memories to share with my children and I sincerely hope they can appreciate the sure joy a paint horse can provide.
